Translation

The steps for translation will depend on what CAT software you are using. We have instructions for several software packages below.

DigitalCAT
    Open the Translator menu, and click on Steno Source. (If Steno Source is greyed out, you need to click on Stop Translation first.) Set the Primary Steno Device to Baron Realtime. Set the Port 1 to the COM port number listed in the LightSpeed Neo GUI software. (This is usually COM 5.) Click the OK button to save your settings. Open the Translator menu, and click on Start Translation. Save your transcript file.
